MY JOURNEY AS AN ARTISAN
I am Jessica LaMontagne and I started tiling in the 1990s while renovating an old farmhouse in North Carolina.
I loved bringing new life to an old house, working with my hands, and the artistic nature of tile work in particular. Eventually, I quit my job as public health nutritionist to work as a professional tile installer.
In 2012, I moved to Dover, NH to work with my second husband, Doug Dodd, a long time builder in the Seacoast. Together we worked on a dozen new homes and many bathroom and kitchen remodels. I have made a hundred custom tile showers.
Doug is now retired and I continue to work part-time on custom tile installations and bath remodels.
